American actress Evan grew up with her older brothers Ira David Wood IV and Dana Wood. Her father is direcor Ira David Wood III who works also as theatre actor and her mother Sara Wood works as actress and acting coach. Her father has a christian background and her mother is a convert to Judaism. She moves to Los Angeles with her mom and brother Ira David Wood IV after her parents divorced in 1997.

She made her action movie debut as Daniella Rogers next to Jeff Fahey who plays the lead role as Danny Devlin in "Detour" (1998). Danny is the leader of a gang, whose attempt fails to rob the warehouse of a mafia boss. The gang defends themselve when they are hunted by the mob.
She plays female trucker Daniella Rogers in the road action movie "18 Wheel Butterfly" (2015). Danielle is on the run for the law, feds and bounty hunters after she is accused for a crime, which she doesn't has commited.
